Inside each of us are different parts. Some protect you by staying alert, some push you to avoid pain, and some criticize in an attempt to keep you safe. IFS helps you understand these parts, why they developed, and what they are trying to do for you. When you treat them with kindness, your body and mind start to feel safer, lighter, and more connected to yourself.

What IFS Feels Like
IFS therapy is about listening to your inner world and noticing the different parts of yourself in a safe, supported way. Together, we explore what each part is trying to do for you and help them feel heard instead of ignored. You also reconnect with your core Self, the part of you that is calm, compassionate, and wise, which can guide and soothe all the other parts. Through this process, the tension and conflict inside start to ease, and you begin to feel steadier, lighter, and more at peace with yourself.
