Who Am I

I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm. I offer a warm, collaborative space to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and move toward more authentic, connected ways of living and relating.

More About Me
My work is grounded in a deep interest in relationships, identity, and the emotional patterns that shape how we connect with ourselves and others. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware — yet still find themselves feeling stuck, disconnected, or caught in repeating relational cycles.
My approach is relational, attachment-informed, and experiential. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Satir Model of transformational growth to help clients understand their emotional worlds, clarify their needs, and shift patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or pushing yourself to feel differently — it’s about creating safety to explore what’s actually happening inside, and allowing meaningful change to emerge from there.
I work with individuals navigating relationship rupture, identity transitions, workplace or life disruptions, and fears around rejection or uncertainty. I also support couples who want to reconnect, communicate more honestly, and understand the deeper emotional dynamics driving conflict or distance.
Above all, I value therapy as a human, collaborative process. I bring curiosity, warmth, and respect for your pace, trusting that with the right support, clarity and change become possible.

Real Stories from Lisa’s Clients

"Working with Lisa feels safe, grounded, and deeply attentive. She listens with real presence, mirrors back with curiosity and clarity, and remembers details from previous sessions, which allows our work to unfold over time with depth and continuity. She creates a space where all parts of me are welcome, including anger, grief, shame, and defensiveness, and she holds that space with steadiness and care. ... I began working with Lisa during the most difficult period of my life, and I consistently leave our sessions feeling resourced, grounded, and better equipped to meet what life brings. Her work has been an important part of my healing and rebuilding process, and I am deeply grateful for the care, depth, and integrity she brings to her practice. Thank you Lisa."

"Lisa brings warmth, openness, and empathy to every session. Her ability to ask thoughtful questions helps me uncover the root of my challenges, and her gentle approach makes even difficult conversations feel manageable and safe. Working with Lisa has been incredibly grounding for me. She is warm, open, and empathetic, and she creates a space where even the most difficult topics feel safe to explore. She asks the right questions to gently guide me toward deeper understanding and healing, always at a pace that feels respectful and supportive."

"Lisa has walked with me as I meet different aspects of myself: how I think, how to move through hard experiences, and how I want show up in the world. Working with Lisa has helped me find a calm, confident, and kind way to be, even when the world around us is not."

"It has been a life changing experience for me. She actively listens, works in various modalities during our time together. She has enabled me to start understanding the world we currently live in and has enabled me to connect and understand more about myself, especially from the body work we have done together. It is helping me take a deeper look into myself, my ways of coping and finding more adaptive coping mechanisms. Lisa provides an environment that is supportive and nourishing. I have been able to look more inward and understand myself and the place I hold."
