“Strength, I had learned, was like this littered forest floor, built of small triumphs and infinite blunders, sunny hours followed by sudden storms that tore it all down. We are one and all alike if for no other reason than the excruciating and beautiful way we grow piece by unpredictable piece, falling, pushing from the debris, rising again, and hoping for the best.” ― Shelley Read, Go as a River

Who Am I
I am a student earning my MA in Integrative Psychology. My background is in social work and yoga. I completed my Somatic Practitioner training in 2025. I am passionate about weaving the body into therapy and learning to listen to our inner compass through felt sense.
More About Me
I believe we are our own healers, and seek to come alongside as a guide, pointing clients towards their intuition through attuned presence and embodied knowledge. My hope is to help clients come “home” to themselves, offering somatic tools and practices to listen to what’s arising in their bodies to point us towards what needs attention. With continued work together, my clients will find an anchor in their core self as they expand capacity for discomfort and difficult emotions, finding more ease and flow in their daily life.
I began my own counselling journey years ago after experiencing some medical trauma with my youngest daughter. Talk therapy and cognitive approaches helped me to create tools for coping with my anxiety. It was around this time I also got serious about my yoga journey. Yoga brought me in towards my body and was a big part of my healing both physically and emotionally. This eventually led me towards somatics, where I began to find deeper healing underneath the symptoms, and guided me towards leaving a 13-year marriage that no longer served me. I believe it is important for anyone offering therapy to also be actively working on their own growth. I continue on my own path of healing my nervous system as I enter into the role of therapist. For me, this includes my own therapy, along with a healthy lifestyle that includes mindfulness, meditation, yoga, time spend outdoors, intentional connection with family and friends, dancing, nutrition and adequate rest.
