At B-rooted Counselling, we are proud to offer a unique and supportive way to access high-quality counselling at a reduced cost through our Intern Program. This program is designed to provide clients in the Comox Valley (or virtually) with an affordable option while also supporting the next generation of compassionate, skilled therapists.
Our student therapists are in the process of completing their Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology or Social Work, bringing fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping others. Each intern is directly supervised on an ongoing weekly basis by an experienced onsite Clinical Supervisor, ensuring that every session is held to the highest professional standards. In addition, they are supported and guided by their affiliated academic program, making certain that they are well-equipped to offer thoughtful and effective care.
Sessions with our interns are offered at a reduced fee, providing a valuable opportunity for individuals, to receive the support they need without the financial strain. Whether you choose to meet in-person here in the Comox Valley or prefer the convenience of virtual sessions, our Intern Program offers a warm and compassionate space to explore your personal journey.
